MRS JUDY MUIR BBC  is a Biblical Counselor and Life Coach seeking to serve the body of Christ, the community and the world at large with the message of ‘Help and Hope’ through the gospel of Jesus Christ. She has practiced privately for years with the results of seeing marriages and individuals restored to greater wholeness by the grace of God. 

Her Mission  is to help you overcome the difficulties that prevent you from thinking, feeling and behaving in ways that are healthy and enhance your relationships, performance and overall quality of life.

Judy will seek to accomplish this by:

BARB LONGWORTH has an Advanced Diploma in Biblical Counseling from Light University.  She is trained in listening, clarifying, and assisting in goal setting, and is competent to guide you in creating and maintaining Boundaries in relationships.  Barb uses a Christ-centred, 12 Step Model of recovery as she helps people who are struggling with 'hurts, habits and hang-ups' in their lives.

JIM LONGWORTH  has completed the Foundational courses in Biblical Counseling from Light University.  Jim and his wife Barb have had much success in working with married couples, helping them sort through their struggles and find true love and acceptance in their relationship.  Jim also finds great satisfaction in using the 12 Step Model of recovery in helping men break free from the bondage of hurts, habits and hang-ups in their lives.

Jim and his wife Barb, co-direct CELEBRATE RECOVERY, a Christ-centered 12 Step ministry, at Lincoln Baptist Church.  Jim is also the Eastern Representative for that ministry.

DONNA PHILLIPS BA, BSW, RSW   returned to her hometown of Fredericton after living away for 30
     years. Before returning to Fredericton Donna worked as an Executive Director for the Elizabeth Fry Society of
     Mainland Nova Scotia and with the Canadian Mental Health Association Halifax Dartmouth Branch.

     Donna takes a holistic approach to counseling engaging clients from a person-centered, empowerment approach
     to counseling. Utilizing various therapeutic techniques such as Strengths Based, Solution Focused, CBT, ACT,
     Narrative and Humanist approaches to practice Donna works with adults,children, adolescents and couples.
     Together they are able to address a number of life challenges such as mental health and addictions, family
     violence, trauma (past and present), grief, employment and life issues as well as circumstances of marital

Don Persaud, a Canadian Certified Counsellor, holds a Masters of Education in Psychological Counselling and has a strong background in the medical field.  His area of expertise includes: suicide and crisis intervention, coping and managing stress, anger, addictions (sexual/gambling/substances), anxiety, phobias, panic attacks, depression, domestic violence, body image, chronic illness, weight loss (healthy eating), eating disorders, chronic pain, and PTSD. He also provides guidance on relationship issues (couple counselling), self-esteem, self-care, loss/grief management, elderly issues, burnout, and time management.  His holistic, person-centered approach involves various therapeutic techniques, such as CBT, solution-focused, narrative, strength based, and mindfulness.  Don has personally experienced numerous traumatic losses in his life and so is able to use his life experiences to help make a difference in people coping with troubling life issues.  He works with a variety of clients from various cultural and religious backgrounds, mostly available evenings and weekends.  To make an appointment with Don please email us at soulcare4you@gmail.com

Rachel has her Masters of Education in Counselling from UNB. Rachel provides counselling to children, youth and adults with a variety concerns including, but not limited to: anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationship issues, trauma, anger, stress, and self-care management. Rachel provides an eclectic view of counselling influenced by a person-centered, strength based, solution focused, and cognitive-behavioral therapy approach. When working with children in particular, she also incorporates art and aspects of play therapy into her counselling.  She is passionate to help people fulfill the potential God has for their life. Rachel believes each person has the capability within themselves to grow and become the person God has destined. She seeks to create support through a safe and nurturing environment while encouraging clients to see God at work throughout the process.

DIANE has been involved in pastoral ministry with her husband for 25 years after having practiced as a Registered Nurse for 10 years. 
Through her nursing career and in pastoral counseling she has gained much experience in assisting individuals and their families as they journey through various passages of life, including grief and end-of-life trauma.  Diane's education also includes courses in Biblical Counseling and Life Coaching through Light University as well as studies in areas of personal development, such as self-care, self-worth and relationships. Her desire is to be a support to individuals in setting and reaching their goals for optimum wellness - physically, spiritually and emotionally.
