God does not require that we be successful, only that we be faithful. --Mother Teresa
Do we equate success with faith? Being successful means accomplishments and well-deserved praise. But the recovery journey has fortunately changed how we interpret life.
We learn in Step Three that God wants us to have faith and acting as if we have faith begins to feel like faith. As we accept that God's only wants us to turn to Him for guidance our, circumstances become much less foreboding.
As we practice faith we will begin to feel successful in ALL our experiences because we walk through them now with peace, trusting that God is in them. Believing in God, being faithful, can be our greatest success.
I can be faith-filled today if I turn my life and my will over to the care of God. I will remind myself of this every time I get in the "driver's seat."
