HEART TROUBLE!

Jesus said, “Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me."  John 14:1

NOTE THE PICTURE!  Yes, it is me AND Alex because tomorrow we are going to the St. John Hospital together as he is having Open Heart Quadruple By-pass surgery on Wednesday.

The above verse came to me today and I like the way it says it in The Message....."Don't let this throw you!  You trust God, don't you?"  My thoughts are that we could be having more than one kind of 'heart' trouble but we don't need to.  We CAN choose to trust God.

Philippians 4:6-7 helps us as well to realize that we can CHOOSE to not worry.  "
Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life."  YES!  it sure is!

I realize that a prime reason we are experiencing such peace is because you are praying for our 'hearts'.  We can't thank you enough and ask you to please continue to pray throughout the next few days.  We will keep you posted on the condition of our 'hearts'!  {Or at least, I will........as Alex will be offline for awhile!
}

Oh yes........and the lawn mowing that I was worrying about?????  Thank You Lord for our dear friends and family who are pitching in to help us out.  You know who you are and we love you for it! <3

Praying for Alex as he undergo's surgery. Praying for you Judy as you wait patiently for him to come out of the OR. Praying God's guidance on you both and your family and friends. You both mean more to me then you know. You have always cared even when I was at the ends of my rope. I will never forget any of it. Much Love and Prayers. I love you both. xxoo

So many comforting verses in the Bible about the hearts and how to comfort them and still them when the tides are turbulent. How I pray that your hearts will not be troubled, neither let them be afraid.
