HEART TROUBLE-DAY 2

My dear mother had been in the hospital in Ontario for a few days and at about 2:30 this morning my sister Cathy called to say that she had gone home to be with the Lord!

My first feeling was of incredible joy as I envisioned her jogging down the streets of gold calling out, "Maurice, I'm here Maurice!"  Maurice is my dad who has been in heaven for a few years now.  Then I imagined them continuing to walk hand in hand, laughing and chatting together, their faces filled with peace and joy and love.  Yes, I am sad and there are, and will be, tears but I'm glad mom is free of the sin, pain and hurt of this old world.

Didn't get much sleep after that and at 7:00 am we were on the road with Jennifer and Lydia arriving at the St. John Hospital just before 10:00.  After checking in, it was a whirlwind day of activity to prepare Alex for his heart surgery tomorrow. And now to sleep and be back there for 9:00 am to be with him until the surgery that will happen at 1 or 2 o'clock.  Thank you dear friends Tammy and Steve for the gracious hospitality in your home while we're here and thank you to all who have offered loving support.  God bless you all for much needed prayer for these days of trial...........the Lord is giving us the peace you are asking Him for!

Thank you Father for the wonderful staff that attended us today and will be surrounding us tomorrow.  Especially for the surgeon Dr. Craig Brown.  Guide his hands and mind as he does 3 by-passes in Alex' heart.  Thank you also for our dear friends and family who are holding us before Your throne of grace for the help we need at this time. And once again, in our lives right now, may we be free of any 'heart' trouble that would come from not trusting You...........because
Jesus said, “Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me."  John 14:1  Amen!

Wow, so much going on at once Judy! Thank God for His immeasurable grace and for the joy He gave you in the midst of sadness. I pray that God's peace and grace comfort you and everyone who was close to your mother. May you continue to sense His strength as He is ever present help in time of "heart trouble". May the surgeons hands be wisely guided by the Holy Spirit. IN Jesus Name! Amen

I'm sorry your mom is gone now, but that beautiful, wonderful hope secures joy. I hope your grieving is good.
Please give Alex my love and I will be talking to my DAD about you and your family as your hearts heal.
Love,
Cecilie

Sorry to hear about your mom Judy but it does make her passing somewhat easier when you knew she had gone to her Heavenly Home. That's the way I felt when my Dad passed away. Prayers for you and all your family and wishing Alex a speedy recovery.

Sorry to hear about your mom. It is not easy to lose a parent, but I know that God will surround you and your loved ones at this time with His comfort and peace. It is wonderful to be able to look at from heavens perspective, no more pain or tears, just pure love. Praying for you and Alex in this day and in the days ahead.
