My grandson quoted me this little bit of wisdom the other day.

"Those who live for acceptance will die from rejection!"

Galatians 1:10 "Obviously, I'm not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ's servant."

I need to learn to live this verse more, instead of worrying what the world thinks of me.

Giving up seeking the acceptance of others has been a life long process. Today, I am glad to say, I am not seeking it as I did in the past. I have begun to learn that God's unconditional love and acceptance of me is found in my Savior Jesus Christ so why would I seek for less than the best!
